A PTFE treatment designed to give highly effective dust release when applied to the collection surface of the needlefelt filter fabric. The resultant filtration media combines the normal permeability and characteristics of a traditional dust collection needlefelt whilst further enhancing the dust release properties necessary to give efficient filter operation. PTFE has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and therefore LUSTREWEB can enhance dust release on a wide range of materials including high temperature resistant needlefelts such as Aramid, P84 and PPS.
If water and oil repellency are required a UCF finish would be an additional treatment.

A graphite containing surface treatment that offers spark-blocking properties, eliminating the potential for hot sparks from a combustion process burning holes in the filter. The coating of graphite over the needlefelt forms a barrier inhibiting the effects of the spark on the fibres below. The coating is durable and abrasion resistant inhibiting spark but not fire damage.
The graphite coating also has antistatic properties.
Microweb II has an acrylic polymer microporous coating over a specially designed polyester needlefelt. The polymeric coating has a three dimensional pore structure that extends into the top surface of the felt and provides a smooth surface. The coating also benefits from an additional fluoropolymer surface coating for additional release properties. Microweb II has been given an 'M' category rating DIN EN 60335-2-69.
Techron is an embedded membrane, formulated from fluoropolymers, that is applied as a coating amongst the surface fibres of the needlefelt . The coating provides surface filtration and has very good resistance to chemicals and heat and therefore can be applied to a wide range of fibre felt types including polyester, homopolymer acrylic, PPS, Aramid, P84 and PTFE.
The media offers reduced emissions over a conventional felt particularly
when handling fine agglomerating, fibrous and sticky
dusts.
Techron - plus has the same benefits as Techron described above but has a finer pore size for better efficiency in the collection of very fine, sticky or hygroscopic dusts.
